Allison Moore
Bio
Allison Cicero Moore has been widely involved with Columbia’s visual art community over the years. Prior to joining the team at the South Carolina State Museum, she taught art history, art education, studio art classes at various higher education institutions in the area, and managed McMaster Gallery at USC and Goodall Gallery at Columbia College. She also served as the Executive Director of 701 Center for Contemporary Art and was Artist-in-Residence at Richland Library Main.
Moore holds an MA in Art Education from Concordia University (Montreal, Quebec, Canada), an MA in Art with a concentration in Metals/Jewelry from Eastern Illinois University, and a BFA in Crafts from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
