Bio

Maia Payne is our Associate Art Curator. As a member of our Curatorial Affairs Department, she will be responsible for our changing art exhibition program in the museum’s Lipscomb Art Gallery as well as integrating and managing artwork throughout the museum’s exhibitions.  The position will also work closely with our Manager of Community Engagement with all related art programs.  Maia holds master’s degrees in art administration and public affairs from Indiana University at Bloomington and a bachelor’s degree in art history/studio art from Earlham College. She previously held positions of Recreational Leader at the City of Bloomington and Community Engagement Fellow at the Lotus Education & Art Foundation.
