Lenora (Nonie) Price, retired from the USC School of Library and Information in 2016 after a career in library services.

Nonie began her career in 1969 as a media specialist in the Greenville county schools and later served as an Army librarian in Bad Kreuznach Germany in the early '70s. Upon her return to the states, Price worked as a public services librarian for the Richland County Public Library for seven years. She joined her alma mater in 1993 as the SLIS continuing education/alumni coordinator.

She served on numerous boards and societies throughout her career, including:

  • Chair, Board of Trustees, Richland County Public Library
  • Chair, Trustee Section, South Carolina Library Association

  • Member, Richland County Public Library Foundation Board
